Civil Law

The branch of civil law regulates the legal relations created in the context of private transactions of natural and legal persons. It is part of private law. Branches of Civil Law include:

  1. Civil Claims which regulates obligations, i.e. the legal relations under which one person owes a benefit to another. There are two main subjects, contractual obligations, and statutory obligations. The law of obligations regulates the rights and obligations of a debtor and creditor of a benefit, the abnormal. The rights and obligations of the debtor and the creditor or creditor of a debtor, the irregular development of an obligation (failure to perform, default, default by the debtor), individual contracts and torts.
  2. In Rem law regulates absolute rights to things, such as ownership, possession, usufruct, servitudes, pledge, mortgage. In rem law defines what these rights are, what their content is, how they are constituted, how they are transferred and how they are protected.
  3. Family Law regulates the law relating to marriage, the obligations and rights of spouses, the dissolution of marriage, parental responsibility for children, the rights and obligations of parents and children, adoption and maintenance between spouses and relatives.
  4. Inheritance Law regulates the issues of succession, testamentary succession, the induction of the inheritance to the heirs, legal succession, etc.
