Dimitra Neofytidou studied Law at Democritus University of Thrace and did her Postgraduate Studies in the Section of Law and Economics at the inter-institutional programme of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and the University of Macedonia. Her dissertation was carried out on the Competition Law and especially on the forbidden forms of partnership.
She continued her studies at the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) in the section of Private Law and Business Transactions. Her dissertation was carried out on Corporate Law and more specifically on corporate mergers and their sustainability (Sustainability and Mergers).
Besides the afore-mentioned postgraduate studies, she has also attended a course on Corporate Law in Austria and more specifically at the Law Schools of Vienna and Graz (University of Graz and Vienna Law School). The Course included specialization in the fields of Antitrustlaw, Cross
Border Relocation of Business , Tax Aspects, Competition Law –International Business Relations, Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity & Venture Capital.
Additionally, she has attended training programmes on Labour Law and in the field of Business Management: Strategic Management, at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens as well as in the field of persona data (GDPR) at the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, receiving certification as Data Protection Officer (DPA).
She is a member of the Bar Association of Thessaloniki and has successfully undertaken and handled cases of Civil and Commercial Law, specializing in Corporate Law and Property Law. Being a bilingual in Greek and German (both used as mother tongues), she has focused her main professional subject on cases which include the “foreign” element.
She speaks English and German.
